Roller-guided vinyl film knife for cuts in car body gaps

Roland Sasser from Georgia (USA) was looking for a special knife to avoid ugly zigzag cuts and paint damage on car doors and fuel filler caps. In cooperation with him, we then developed the roller-guided SasserCut, which perfectly cuts the film in bodywork gaps.

The conically shaped rollers ensure that the blade is guided safely: with a conventional knife, it can move up and down or left and right within the gap, resulting in irregular cut edges and possibly even cutting into the paint.

Adjustable plunge depth allows for safe cuts

The SasserCut Pro features an immersion depth of 5.3 mm as standard. With the SasserCut Roll replacement rollers, additional cutting depths of 4.0 and 6.5 mm are available. A special plastic protective roller is also available for use with the optional SpareBlade SasserCut Pro Plastic blade. This combination is ideal for vehicles where sensitive rubber seals and interior covers are located directly behind the body gap.

This specialty cutter is also available as a complete SasserCut Pro Set including all roller variants and replacement blades. Alternatively, individual combinations of SasserCut Pro Handle, rollers and blades can be ordered.
